Our Kids Ministry
We love kids at Hope Alliance! In fact, we believe that what happens in our children’s ministry is just as important as what happens in our main worship gathering.
We take the safety of the children at Hope Alliance seriously. Each children’s ministry volunteer and youth group leader has passed a complete background check, including child abuse clearance. It is our privilege to come alongside families in their effort to cultivate the personal faith of their children. We also respect a parent’s choice to have their children stay with them in service and welcome children of all ages to be a part of our main gathering.
Our nursery is available for the entire service and is staffed by volunteers who love Jesus and are excited to care for children from birth to age two. Precious little ones experience the love of Christ through song and Bible stories taught at their level.
Our young learners class is for ages three through kindergarten and begins after the singing time in the main service. Hope Alliance is thrilled to use The Gospel Story for Kids curriculum that chronologically takes children through the Bible and points to God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ in every lesson. This age group enjoys working on a craft or object lesson that corresponds with the message of the week.
Our elementary classes are for first through sixth graders and begin after the singing time in the main service. Like the young learners, our elementary students use The Gospel Story for Kids curriculum. However, the engaging activities of each lesson are geared towards elementary-aged kids to help them gain a deeper understanding of God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ as they begin to study Scripture for themselves.
